Jaime Reyes is Blue Beetle. He is bonded with a sentient alien object called a Scarab, which gives him a high-tech armor. He’s a high-school senior who is about to graduate. The Justice League literally ground Jaime when a message from the alien civilization, the Reach, bombards his scarab during graduation.
