ABOUT BLUE BEETHLE: GRADUATION Day

Jaime Reyes must juggle a lot. Jaime Reyes is torn between his two worlds, whether it’s the finals of his senior year or an evil villain who is destroying El Paso. When these worlds collide at his high-school graduation, everything will change.

Jaime Reyes is Blue Beetle. He is bonded with a sentient alien object called a Scarab, which gives him a high-tech armor. He’s a high-school senior who is about to graduate. The Justice League literally ground Jaime when a message from the alien civilization, the Reach, bombards his scarab during graduation. As if this weren’t enough, Jaime’s friends and parents are pressing him to make a decision about his future.

Jaime arrives in Palmera City to spend a gap year working in his tias’ restaurant, but he’s got other things on his mind—like who is the mysterious new Yellow Beetle he saw on the news? How are these messages connected to the Reach message sent to his scarab by the Reach? What’s hidden on Earth that is bringing the Reach back to Earth?

Can Jaime achieve balance in his own life and become a true superhero, or will the Justice League’s full power be unleashed on him as a result of this super-heroing behavior?
